As an international graduate student, I have realized how important learning Korean is for adapting to life in Korea. From visiting a clinic to understanding notices and connecting with people, knowing the language makes everyday life easier. I wish I had started learning Korean earlier, as it makes settling into a new environment much smoother. My advice to newcomers is to start early and practice without worrying about mistakes, even small conversations can open doors.
