The CatStructure Lab is looking for passionate researchers eager to take on new challenges in catalysis and energy materials. Building on a fundamental understanding of structure–activity relationships in catalysts, our lab develops high-performance catalysts and electrode materials for sustainable energy and resource conversion. Our research spans the full pipeline, from fundamental materials design and elucidation of reaction mechanisms to large-area, scalable fabrication with real-world process applications in mind. * Open Positions Ph.D. / Integrated M.S.–Ph.D. Program We welcome students interested in the following research areas: + Thermochemical catalysis and waste-to-fuel conversion + Electrocatalysis and green hydrogen + Catalyst design based on single-crystal oxides + Large-area catalyst and electrode fabrication + Carbon recycling and sustainable energy conversion Applicants with backgrounds in chemistry, materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, energy engineering, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Experience in catalyst synthesis, electrochemistry, materials characterization, or reaction engineering is a plus, but we value curiosity and the drive to define and solve problems independently over any specific research experience. Undergraduate Researchers / Interns We are also recruiting undergraduate students who want hands-on experience in catalysis, energy materials, and sustainable energy conversion research, and who are considering graduate school.
