The Intelligent Robotics Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UNIST invites applications for two postdoctoral researcher positions in Physical AI (robot intelligence and control) and semiconductor packaging. ■ Positions and Research Focus 1. Physical AI (1 position) - Control of robot manipulators, quadrupeds, and humanoids - Development of vision-language-action (VLA) models that incorporate force, tactile, and other sensory modalities - World-model-based prediction of physical states and their mapping to robot control inputs 2. Semiconductor Packaging (1 position) - Coupled multiphysics (co-physics) analysis of semiconductor packaging - AI-driven mechanical analysis and process/design optimization ■ Compensation and Benefits Salary: KRW 90 million per year (inclusive of national social insurance and employer contributions) Location: Intelligent Robotics Lab, UNIST (Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology), Ulsan, Korea On-campus housing available ■ How to Apply Interested candidates should send a CV to the email address below.
