The group aims to bring together foreign scientists and engineers in the ICT sector to research industry-specific quantum computing use cases and explore opportunities for employment and technology startups in Korea. It also aims to help foreign researchers better understand Korean workplace culture, communication styles, and organizational structures so they can integrate more smoothly into Korean research institutions and companies.
The group will hold six regular meetings from July to December 2026 on the third Thursday of each month, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Participants will analyze the latest domestic and international quantum computing trends, industry-specific use cases, corporate investment activities, collaborative R&D cases, government support programs, and technology startup opportunities. The program will also cover Korean workplace culture, organizational hierarchies, communication practices, and practical information for settling in Korea. Meeting materials will be shared in real time through Google Workspace, and recorded videos will be provided for members who are unable to attend. Additional ad-hoc meetings may be organized in consultation with members.
